On June 14, 2014, representatives of your Lodge presented the Flag Day Ceremony. There were over 40 people in attendance, not including Alana, Jeremy Walton's companion dog.

Many people contributed to the success of the day. Chucks, Jr and Sr, Bob, Joel, Chris, Doris, Joe, Ida, Carman, John, Scouts of Pack #113, essay winners, Mersadie Harvey, Brooke-lyn Doyle, Zeph Jackson, Jenna Skype, Marilyn Ryan, Jim Haggerty, Bob Carroll, Dr. Stevphen Krizar, and retired United States Marine Corps Corporal Jeremy Walton.

Chuck read the history of the Flag, and Buster gave the response. Art's job (displaying the various Flags) was assumed by the Scouts. The essay winners read their thoughts on, "What Veterans Day Means to Me", and Jeremy related his moving story of the reality of battle, and the real world consequences. The group was so focused on Jeremy's words, that you could hear a pin drop on the rug, there was not a dry eye in the room. Alana was very patient and polite and entertaining throughout the afternoon. She deserves an extra treat for that.
