On Saturday, May 7th, Kinderhook Elks hosted a homecoming reception to honor State Vice President John R. Piddock.
At the start of the event, member Jim Yager delivered the invocation and the pledge of allegiance was led by Tom Miglio. Guests were welcomed by Past District Deputy Leo Buell and visiting dignitaries were introduced by Past District Deputy Steve Race.
The roast beef dinner was prepared served by PDD Chris Akers and a crew including Ben Lasher, John Sundwall, Alisha Siligato, and Larry Knott, while Sharon Deck served refreshments at the bar.
May 6th was John’s birthday so, accompanied by John Deane on the accordion, the room sang Happy Birthday
