After a week of preparations, the Marion Stegmann deliveries were made on Saturday morning. This is the first year under new  committee chairman, Ben McEwan. In spite of bad weather and treacherous road conditions, the event was a success, with food and gifts delivered to 275 families.

Early Saturday morning, fresh milk, fresh eggs, and frozen chickens donated by Hannafords were delivered (truck and driver kindly provided by Mario's). These were unloaded and distributed among the many boxes destined for needy families in the area.

By the time deliveries began, it was snowing more heavily and many of the receipients are located on back roads which, at the time, had not been plowed.
