On a beautiful Thursday in September The Kinderhook Elks Veteran’s committee sponsored a day of fishing for hospitalized veterans from the Stratton V. A. Hospital. This is the 5th year that this event has been held.
After a full morning of “catch and release” fishing at the beautiful pond on the Delong property, the Vets were transported to the lodge pavilion for a picnic lunch of hotdogs, hamburgers, mac &cheese, salads and ice cream.
Music was provided by John Deane and a good time was had by all!
