On Tuesday morning, Kinderhook Elks Veterans' Committee welcomed 12 Veterans from the Albany VA Stratton Medical Center for some first-class fishing at the home of local resident John DeLong. The weather was just right and the fish were biting.
The honor of the biggest catch goes to Irvin Gilman, pictured below with Tom Miglio of the Veterans' Committee and Michele Ferrauilo from the VA Hospital. (I think this is the same fish we caught in September last year!)
At lunch time, the rods were stashed and everyone headed back to the Lodge pavilion for a meal prepared and served by Charlie, Ida, Joel, Larry, Sharon and Whiskers.
