December 21st, 2014 - Veterans' Christmas Party
The Lodge Veterans Committee hosted a Christmas party at Barnwell nursing and rehabilitation center on Sunday 12/21/15.
December 20th, 2014 - Marion Stegmann
Each year, the Marion Stegmann Fund delivers food and gifts to needy families throughout Northern Columbia County. The work is split between the Kinderhook Elks and the Ghent VFW.
December 7th, 2014 - Ritual of Memorial Service
Sunday December 7th: Kinderhook Elks performed the Ritual of Memorial Service. This most solemn of the Elks services was attended by over 30 people.
December 6th, 2014 - Hoop Shoot
Saturday, December 6th: The 2014 Kinderhook Elks Hoop Shoot, organized by Mike Walsh, was held in the Ichabod Crane High School Gym. Winners will go on to the district finals in Hudson in January.
November 12th, 2014 - Veterans' Dinner
The Lodge prepared and served Ham with Macaroni & Cheese on Wednesday, November 12th. Veterans were invited to dine free. The dinner was a success with 64 meals served.
November 9th, 2014 - New Member Initiation
Sunday, November 9th, six new members were initiated at the Kinderhook ELKS Lodge. The ritual was performed as part of the Kinderhook Lodge visitation and was attended by many members and dignitaries from the Lodges of the North Hudson District.
September 18th-21st, 2014 - Fall Conference
One of the highlights in the visit of Grand Exalted Ruler John D. Amen of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks to the New York State Elks Association Fall Conference held in Albany September 18th to the 21st was to meet the New York State Major Projects (Cerebral Palsy) Ambassador, Allie Comfort.
September 19th, 2014 - Vets' Fishing Day
Kinderhook Elks continue to strive to meet the commitment:
"So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them."
July 25th & 26th, 2014 - Fire Convention
The 2014 Columbia County Fire Convention was a big success. Kinderhook Elks served a chicken dinner to the attendees at the firehouse on Friday evening and on Saturday, after the parade through Kinderhook Village, approximately two thousand hot dogs were prepared and served.
